Job summary

King in Brookhaven, MS is seeking an ER Tech to perform directed patient care for a set number of patients in the Emergency Department. You will operate under the RN/LPN direction, collect patient information, stock supplies, and help transport patients to maintain ED flow.

The role requires responding quickly to emergencies, staying within department policies, and interacting professionally with staff and patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a nursing or EMT program preferred.
• Must be able to cope with frequent exposure to unpleasant sights and odors and difficult patient/family behaviors.
• Must be able to work and interact professionally and non-defensively with peers, physicians, administration, patients, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Performs directed patient care for an assigned number of patients.
