Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks an Emergency Department Technician to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care at the competent level, following the nursing process in a fast-paced ED environment.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, leading assigned team members, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring patient safety, privacy, and family-centered care during night shifts with 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 1 year in ED technician role or CNA/EMT or similar.
• Credentials: BLS certification required within 2 weeks of hire.
• Physical and mental requirements include standing, lifting, and flexibility to perform in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process.
• Direct and lead other team members; coordinate with multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental needs.
