Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks an Emergency Department Technician II to support a decentralized, patient-centered approach under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of health care patient care experience.

Preferred candidates have experience as a Patient Care Tech or nursing assistant, or are nursing students with clinical exposure in Adult Medical/Surgical settings. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of patient care experience in health care.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, performs multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized, patient-centered approach to care.
• Reports to the Nurse Manager and collaborates with Registered Nurses to achieve desired outcomes.
