Job summary

Baptist Health Emergency Department in Louisville, KY is seeking an ED Tech to support nursing and medical staff on the 2nd shift (11a–11p) for a 36-hour week. The role combines clinical assistance with clerical duties, under RN or LPN supervision, across a fast-paced ED.

You will assist triage, help maintain the care environment, and participate in a multidisciplinary team caring for a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with recent experience in a health care setting providing patient care.
• BCLS certification within the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs desk duties in a clerical role with high levels of accuracy
• Provides care appropriate to the emergency population and maintains the environment of care
• Assists the nursing staff in triage
