Job summary

Monterey Park Hospital in Monterey Park, CA is seeking an ER Tech for our Emergency Department. This is a full-time, 12-hour, variable-shift position reporting to the Director of Critical Care Services.

The ER Tech takes direction from the Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse and delivers high quality, basic patient care while respecting age, development, spirituality, and cultural diversity to ensure safe, quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year experience as ER Tech, CNA or MA preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• AB508, MAB, CPI or equivalent training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Take assignments and direction from the Charge Nurse or RN.
• Provide high quality, individualized basic patient care.
• Support the hospital mission and vision.
• Apply knowledge of age, development, culture, and spirituality in patient care.
• Contribute to safety and quality care for positive patient outcomes.
