Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, NC is seeking an ED Tech (PRN) for a dynamic 17-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. The role involves assisting with basic patient care, monitoring vital signs, and supporting daily living activities in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Current EMT or CNA listing with NC Division of Facility Services.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current CNA listing with no substantiated findings of abuse.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Keep patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly.
