Job summary

Winchester Hospital is a 183-bed regional hospital known for Magnet designation and comprehensive emergency services. The ED Tech works under an RN to provide emergency care and patient comfort in a fast-paced ED setting.

Required: CNA or nursing student with clinical rotation or one year of clinical care; EMT/ER experience also considered. Preferred: basic computer skills, EKG and phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or nursing student with one medical-surgical rotation or one year clinical care experience.
• One year clinical care experience; EMT or ER clinical experience is acceptable.
• Preferred: EKG and phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the RN in delivering emergency care and procedures.
• Assist in patient comfort, safety, and observation in the ED.
• Collaborate with the care team to promote efficient, quality outcomes.
