Job summary

Winchester Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with emergency care exposure to join the fast-paced Emergency Department team. The role supports licensed nurses and participates in patient care aimed at comfort and safety for all patients.

Experience in EMT or ER clinical settings, phlebotomy, and crisis prevention/intervention are valued. This is a full-time, on-site position with pay range indicated and vaccination requirements.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience Required: Certified Nursing Assistant, nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation or one year clinical care experience or equivalent education, one year clinical care experience, EMT or emergency room clinical experience
• Preferred: High school diploma/equivalent strongly preferred
• Emergency patient care experience and EKG experience
• Phlebotomy experience and other related skills

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care under RN supervision
• Contribute to patient comfort and safety in the emergency department
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes
