Job summary

Winchester Hospital is seeking an ED Technician to join the fast-paced emergency department on a per diem, rotating shift basis. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will assist with patient comfort, safety, and basic procedures to support timely care.

The ideal candidate is a CNA or nursing student with clinical rotation or EMT/ER experience, with strong computer skills and a commitment to teamwork.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Certified Nursing Assistant or nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation or one year clinical care experience or equivalent education, one year clinical care experience, EMT or emergency room clinical experience.
• Preferred: High school diploma/equivalent, Emergency patient care experience, EKG experience, Phlebotomy experience
• Other Skills/Knowledge: Basic computer skills, Crisis Prevention/Intervention

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures to provide emergency care under RN supervision and assist with patient comfort and safety in the emergency department.
• Collaborate with the emergency care team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
