Qualifications

• One year of direct patient care in an emergency department or pre-hospital setting.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Emergency Medical Technician: CA (EMT-CA) or National Registry EMT-B (NREMT-B).

Responsibilities

• Utilize AIDET to communicate with patients and families.
• Accurately measure and record vital signs, weights, and visual acuity.
• Safely transport patients to diagnostic exams and assist with ADLs.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; serve as unit coordinator with clerical support.
