Job summary

Abrazo Health is seeking a patient care support role in the Emergency Department at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus. You will assist the RN, monitor patients, and provide comfort and basic care to aid speedy recovery.

Responsibilities include vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, and discharge preparation. Prior CNA or EMT-B certification is preferred. Competitive benefits are offered with Tenet-affiliated employment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• CNA certification or EMT-B preferred; nursing program exposure valued.
• Current CNA license or equivalent experience is expected; CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the Emergency Department under RN supervision.
• Observe and report patient needs, safety, and discharge planning.
• Perform direct patient care tasks per care plan (VS, monitoring, phlebotomy, EKGs).
• Assist with patient transport, room setup, and supplies management.
• Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes; maintain clean rooms.
