Methodist Healthcare, part of HCA Healthcare, is hiring an Emergency Room System Resource RN PRN to support high-quality patient care across units. The role emphasizes mentorship, education, and adherence to nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

This position offers flexible PRN hours and opportunities for professional development. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Nursing with 2+ years of RN experience; a Master’s in Nursing and leadership/preceptor experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: 2+ years’ experience as a RN.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in Nursing, 1+ years’ experience in a leadership role, 1+ years’ experience as a preceptor.

Responsibilities

• Participates in implementation of nursing care plans under supervision of licensed nurse.
• Obtains and records patient information throughout care cycle.
• Documents observations and patient responses; reports to RN/Team Leader.
• Assists with mobility and transfers; supports discharge planning.
• Provides non-medicated support care and basic wound care.
• Assists with specimen collection and medication retrieval.
• Prepares patients for surgery or procedures.
• Ensures safety and isolation protocols are followed.
• Translates medical information for patients and families.
