Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care duties and document vitals and observations.
• Recognize abnormal data and inform nursing staff promptly.
• Provide direct technical care including mobility, feeding, and personal needs.
• Perform phlebotomy and handle specimens for labs.
• Transport patients as needed within the department.
• Educate patients and families and respond to concerns.
• Coordinate clinical activities and communicate with the care team.
