Responsibilities

• Collect vital signs, weight, and other data; document findings.
• Recognize abnormal data and relay to healthcare team.
• Provide direct technical patient care and assist with mobility and daily needs.
• Perform phlebotomy and handle other lab specimens.
• Transport patients and materials within the department.
• Educate patients and families and respond to concerns.
• Coordinate clinical tasks and communicate with nurses and physicians.
