Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions is preferred.
• RN licensure in Georgia and BCLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care.
• Functions within organization policies and coordinates patient care activities of assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
