Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the lifecycle, employing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. This role emphasizes coordination of care, adherence to standards, and ongoing professional development.

The position requires GA RN licensure and BCLS, with a nursing degree from an accredited school; new graduates are eligible and a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• New graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN GA licensure required.
• BCLS required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
