Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, Alabama, is seeking a Registered Nurse for Per Diem shifts in Telemetry and the Emergency Department. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include an active RN license in Alabama, BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and ideally TNNC or CEN qualifications. One year of acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications within required timelines.
• TELEMETRY and Emergency Department experience preferred.
• BSN preferred; CEN certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry and ED.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and nursing staff activities.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians promptly.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality according to policy.
