SENTARA NORTHERN VIRGINIA MEDICAL CENTER Woodbridge, Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This 14-week temporary assignment offers 12-hour shifts (1 PM–1 AM) with a pay rate of $80/hour and requires EPIC proficiency, VA RN licensure eligibility, and TNCC certification.

Minimum 2 years ED RN experience and required certificates (ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS). This role emphasizes flexible scheduling and adherence to hospital standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• RN with at least 2 years of recent Hospital Emergency Department experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care in the ED using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate with the care team to ensure patient safety, education, and timely treatment.
