Job summary

Bronson Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Emergency Department at Bronson South Haven to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. The role involves rapid assessments, administering treatments, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree in Nursing, a valid RN license, and must complete various certifications within specified timeframes. The position offers a sign-on bonus and night shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• BLS required upon completion of orientation.
• SALT Triage, ESI Triage, NIH Stroke Scale certifications within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Perform rapid assessments and prioritize care based on patient acuity.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards.
• Monitor patient condition and respond quickly to changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge needs.
• Delegate appropriate tasks within scope of practice.
• Accurately document patient care and outcomes.
