Job summary

Watertown Regional Medical Center in Wisconsin is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care in a high-acuity setting, with a 36-hour week and 1900 to 0700 shift, including weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred; diploma accepted.
• Current state RN license; BLS/ACLS/PALS per policy.

Responsibilities

• Performs triage and prioritizes patient care based on acuity.
• Assists physicians with exams and procedures in the ED.
• Administers medications and manages critical drips.
• Monitors hemodynamic status and interprets cardiac rhythms.
• Documents care and education accurately and timely.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
