Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking an Emergency Room RN on a PRN Nights schedule to join our team in South Carolina. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, while documenting care accurately and advocating for patients and families.

You will educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up steps, and you will lead efforts in effective pain management and timely

Qualifications

• Associate degree or RN diploma required for licensure.
• Active RN license in state of practice or compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of start date.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team to plan care.
• Document care in the patient record timely and thoroughly.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, meds, and follow-up.
• Promote pain management and anticipate patient needs.
