Job summary

Baptist Brandon is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department (PRN). The role coordinates and provides patient care in a fast-paced ER, applying the nursing process to support patient health and autonomy.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team while pursuing lifelong learning and clinical leadership. RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Computer literacy and ability to use hospital information systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient and develop the plan of care.
• Implement the plan of care and administer medications as prescribed.
• Evaluate the plan of care and adjust as needed.
• Provide patient and family health teaching/education.
• Communicate and collaborate with the care team.
• Provide clinical leadership and support lifelong learning.
• Complete assigned goals and participate in quality initiatives.
