Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation seeks a Registered Nurse for the Brandon, MS Emergency Department. This PRN II role provides direct and indirect patient care, collaborating with physicians and staff to improve outcomes and ensure quality care in a fast-paced ED setting.

Requirements include nursing program graduation, active RN license, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS/PALS preferred. Prior ER experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience is required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license with BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS/PALS certification is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Communicates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and outcomes.
• Administers medications and monitors patient responses per orders.
• Educationally supports patients and families as appropriate.
• Performs nursing duties, prioritizes care, and participates in continuing education.
• Collaborates with social services regarding discharge needs and follow-up.
