Job summary

South Central Regional Medical Center in Magee, MS, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department (Night Shift). The RN will evaluate, plan, implement, and document nursing care, assist physicians, perform patient testing, and educate patients to promote independence and safety.

Required are RN licensure in Mississippi, BLS, ACLS/PALS (or within 30 days of hire), TNCC after one year, and CPI within 90 days. Bachelor's degree is preferred; prior ER/CC experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Mississippi RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required (or within 30 days of hire for new certifications and prior to independent patient care assignments).
• TNCC required for new certifications after one year of emergency nursing experience.
• CPI certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities
