Job summary

Tyvan LLC seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) PRN to deliver high-quality acute care. The role emphasizes rapid assessment, triage, and patient advocacy across age groups in a busy ED.

You will supervise ERTs, coordinate with physicians, and uphold infection control while participating in ongoing education. Requirements include a nursing degree, active state licensure, and current CPR; ACLS/PALS or ENPC/TNCC preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of emergency room experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure with the State Board of Nurse Examiners for their state.
• Current BCLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC preferred.
• English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients thoroughly on arrival and determine condition severity.
• Assign triage categories to prioritize care.
• Provide emergency care to patients of all ages per protocols.
• Administer medications accurately following five rights.
• Supervise ERTs and other staff to ensure workflow.
• Explain procedures and treatment plans to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Engage in ongoing training and quality improvement.
