Job summary

Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID, seeks a variable-shift, part-time Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role requires rapid triage, compassionate care, and collaboration with interdisciplinary staff.

You will provide high-quality care for patients in urgent need, maintain accurate records, and adhere to hospital policies while working in a fast-paced emergency setting at a Level II Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Idaho.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months, PALS within 9 months, TNCC within one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in need of urgent medical attention.
• Quickly assessing and triaging patients, and developing and implementing effective treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide rapid, evidence-based interventions to stabilize patients in critical condition.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records while following hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
