Job summary

Okeene Municipal Hospital and Schallmo Trust Authority in Oklahoma seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift to support ER operations and custodial care patients. The role emphasizes collaborative care, multi-tasking, and high-quality patient-centered services.

A $5,000 Sign-On Bonus is available for qualified full-time hires, with responsibilities at the nurses station, emergency floor, and documentation in Epic EMR in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Active Oklahoma RN license (or multi-state Compact).
• CPR/BLS required upon hire; ACLS and PALS required or within designated timeframe per hospital policy.
• Experience with acute care/emergency nursing; EMR experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform duties requiring physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the ER floor and custodial care patients.
• Monitor unit activities at the nurses station and coordinate admissions/transfers/discharges.
• Assist in triage, stabilization, and bedside procedures within scope of practice.
• Prepare and administer medications following the 5 Rights of Medication Administration.
• Maintain accurate medical records in Epic EMR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with providers, staff, and care teams; delegate tasks as appropriate.
