Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This full-time night shift (36 hours/week) provides direct patient care in a 39-bed ED and collaborates with the care team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, BSN preferred, BLS, and experience in ED or high-acuity settings. We offer a supportive team, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must transfer within 60 days of start date.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status and coordinate with the care team.
• Plan individualized care with patient and family involvement; educate and arrange follow-up as needed.
• Implement coordinated care with time management and resource allocation.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise plans as needed; maintain professional documentation.
• Promote professionalism and comply with ethical and regulatory standards.
