Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network, a nationally recognized health system, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room night shift. Provides professional nursing care with assessment, planning, and evaluation, coordinating with physicians and the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include patient education, collaboration, and participation in quality and safety initiatives. Must hold PA RN license and BLS; orientation and competency requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care.
• Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire.
• RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care for designated patients.
• Recognizes the need for and initiates collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Synthesizes available data to make decisions optimizing patient outcomes.
• Performs validated technical skills based on clinical specialty and unit practice.
