Baylor Frisco Medical Center is seeking a full-time Emergency Department RN to plan, direct, organize, and implement all nursing care for ED patients in accordance with accepted standards of care.

The RN will provide direct patient care across all ages, respond to emergencies, manage pain and medications, and ensure documentation accuracy. A Texas-registered RN with BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC within 90 days of hire is required.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• At least three years experience as an RN in an Emergency Room setting.
• RN, current in the State of Texas.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS or ENPC required within 90 of employment.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, directs, organizes, coordinates, and implements nursing care for emergency department patients.
• Ensures high quality, safe delivery of patient care and compliance with standards.
• Cares for patients from newborns to adults.
• Performs direct patient care within RN scope and hospital policies.
• Assess psychosocial, educational, and physical needs and address them age-appropriately.
• Responds quickly to emergencies and triages patients.
• Develops and prioritizes care plans to reach goals.
• Educates patients and families and documents education.
• Manages pain and medications with continual assessment and safety.
