Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking experienced ER nurses to join our Third Shift Emergency Department team. Part-time or full-time roles with nights 7pm–7:30am, weekend and holiday rotations, and on-call as needed.

We value teamwork, continuous learning, and delivering compassionate, high-quality care. Eligible RNs must hold ADN or diploma, Nebraska RN license, BLS, and ideally PALS, ACLS, TNCC/ATCN with timelines.

Qualifications

• ADN or Nursing Diploma required; Nebraska RN license or compact license.
• Strong communication, teamwork and flexibility required.
• BLS required; PALS, ACLS, TNCC/ATCN within timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide, prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for a designated group of patients.
• Collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Monitor and document patient status, administer medications, and respond to changes in patient conditions.
