AdventHealth in Kissimmee, Florida, is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shift. The role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, creating and updating individualized care plans, administering medications, and educating patients and families.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care and high-quality outcomes. Ideal candidates hold an RN license, BLS certification, and have acute care experience.

Formación

• RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS/CCNS/NEONATAL/NRP/PEARS/qualified certifications preferred
• RN degree and licensure in Florida or state of employment
• Experience in acute care setting preferred

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and reassess regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and policy.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure clear communication.
• Document patient information, care activities and outcomes accurately.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and adjust plans to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control, safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise care provided by team members and delegate tasks as needed.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and participate in performance improvement.
• Respond to code situations promptly and provide interventions.
