Job summary

Adventist Health Tulare in Tulare, CA is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department on a 13-week contract. You will deliver emergency nursing care in a high-acuity ER, performing rapid assessment, stabilization, treatment, and care coordination for all ages. Night shifts 19:00–07:30, 12-hour shifts, 36 or 48 hours/week.

Requires CA RN license (or compact), BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP. Cerner FirstNet EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license or compact eligibility.
• Minimum 2 years acute care or ER experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a high-acuity ER setting.
• Perform rapid patient assessment and stabilization.
• Coordinate care with physicians and ED staff to ensure timely outcomes.
• Deliver treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
