Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a part-time RN for the Emergency Department in Fresno, CA. The nurse will report to the Practice Coordinator, Emergency Room, and provide comprehensive nursing care, supervision, and coordination with staff across shifts.

Requirements include California RN license, ACLS within 90 days, BLS/CPR, and PALS within six months; at least one year in ER/telemetry/critical care; behavioral health training within 3 months and annually thereafter.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the State of California is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• One year experience in an emergency, telemetry or critical care area is required.
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR is required.
• PALS certification required within six months of hire into position.
• Training for care of behavioral health/aggressive-combative patients within three months and annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care of each assigned patient.
• Supervise, coordinate and guide activities with nursing staff members.
• Implement the philosophy, goals and standards of care of the Emergency Department.
