Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a contract, in-office basis in Templeton, CA. Night or variable shifts with EPIC backfill require current Epic experience. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while coordinating with the health care team.

Qualifications include nursing diploma, 1 year acute care RN experience, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications (ACLS/PALS within 6 months). CNA representation may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing is required.
• One-year recent acute care RN experience is required.
• Current RN license in state of practice is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• PALS certification is required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Facility Specific License/Certifications: BLS per AH policy is required.
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS is required.
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures patients' personal needs are met.
• Maintains patient, co-worker, and hospital privacy.
• Documentation is clear, concise, and legible.
• Delivers a clear, concise report.
• Follows infection control guidelines.
• Obtains history/physical assessment according to unit nursing protocol.
• Reviews medical history and available assessment data.
• Administers and charts medications according to hospital policies.
• Attends and participates in staff meetings.
• Completes education, training, and competencies for department skills.

Education

Graduate of a school of nursing

Current RN license in state of practice

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Facility Specific License/Certifications: BLS per AH policy

AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
