Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse for night shift, full-time, to join a comprehensive care team. You will assess patients, develop and adjust care plans, administer medications, and educate families while ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include RN licensure, preferably with BSN; strong communication, teamwork, and clinical documentation skills; and commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN license required and current in the state.
• BSN preferred, ADN accepted with hospital experience.
• Proficient in clinical documentation and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Assess physiological, psychological, development and lifestyle factors to inform care plans.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
• Administer medications per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with medical staff to optimize care.
