Job summary

Piedmont Eastside SOUTH Campus- Emergency Dept is hiring an RN for full-time night shifts (7pm–7am), 3 x 12-hour shifts with every other weekend. Join an 11-bed ED delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to adults and children in a dynamic, team-focused environment.

A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available for eligible candidates. Responsibilities include independent patient assessment, triage, and collaboration with the care team to plan, implement and evaluate care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in Georgia (or compact state).
• BSN degree preferred but not required for all candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage adult and pediatric patients in an 11-bed emergency department.
• Provide interventions in critical care, emergency, and life-threatening situations.
• Mentor and preceptor responsibilities as needed; may serve as relief charge nurse.
• Document care in the patient record and coordinate with team members to ensure quality care.
• Communicate effectively with Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, and physicians as appropriate.
