Job summary

Piedmont Eastside SOUTH Campus Emergency Department in Georgia is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care in an 11-bed ED.

Schedule is 7pm-7am, 3 x 12 hour shifts with every other weekend. A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is available, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments to include data on physical, psychosocial and health history.
• Evaluate developmental age during assessments, treatments and education.
• Organize patient data into a plan of care and identify additional information needed.
• Carry out the plan of care to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Provide care appropriate to severity and plan; supervise support staff.
• Identify teaching opportunities and provide resources for patient education.
