Baylor Scott & White Health in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time shift (1 PM–1 AM) in the Emergency Department. The facility provides Magnet-recognized nursing excellence, a 16-bed unit, and 24/7 emergency services with a multidisciplinary approach to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, care planning, education, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safety and effective outcomes.

Formación

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Specialized nursing field recommended.
• RN license is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee patient care using a professional practice model.
• Perform detailed clinical assessments and create care plans.
• Educate patients, families and staff to support informed healthcare decisions.
• Delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
• Maintain and document patient learning needs and progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and adjust care plans as needed.
