Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Adult ED in Winston-Salem, NC. This full‑time role features night shifts (1930-0745), with every third weekend and holiday requirements.

You will join a renowned Level I trauma center delivering high‑quality emergency care across diverse patient populations. Requirements include an accredited nursing program, an active NC RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and 2+ years ED experience

Qualifications

• Accredited or approved nursing program completed.
• RN license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Two years of ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, and compassionate communication to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the care continuum.
