Job summary

Ochsner Health in Louisiana is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care using the Nursing Process, under the Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and department goals. The role requires RN Diploma, BLS, CPI within 30 days, ACLS and PALS within 90 days; preferred Associate's or Bachelor's in Nursing; strong communication and organizational skills.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, teach patients, manage resources, and support quality outcomes while upholding compliance

Qualifications

RN Diploma is required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
Must have computer skills and ability to use Windows-based software.
Excellent verbal and written communication and time management.

Responsibilities

Effectively uses the Nursing Process in delivering patient care.
Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for diverse patients and groups.
Communicates, delegates and manages nursing team resources on the Interdisciplinary Team.
Uses data and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes.
Supports patient satisfaction and employee morale within professional nursing standards.
Other related duties as required.
