Qualifications

• Registered Nurse responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care, and evaluating outcomes.
• Education: See License/Certification Requirements.
• Experience: Six months of related experience.
• Supervision: Supervises and directs work of other RNs, LPNs, and Nurse Techs as appropriate.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, Float Pool (Critical Care and Maternity) or Cath Lab.
• NRP within 6 months of hire into Nursery and L&D.
• PALS within one year of hire in PACU.
• BLS within 30 days.
