Job summary

Troy Regional is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team in a full-time role. The RN will provide safe, high-quality nursing care to Emergency Room patients, perform assessments, educate patients and families, document responses, and supervise staff as needed.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, current Alabama RN license, BLS within 30 days, and ACLS/PALS by the end of the 90-day probation.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Alabama Registered Nursing License.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required by end of 90-day probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective nursing care to all Emergency Room patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments based on data collection and evaluation.
• Implement patient and family education using teaching plans.
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions, treatments, and procedures.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel in delivering patient care.
