Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing and a BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire; ACLS and PALS within six months.
• One year of ER or acute care experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and identify care needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide age-appropriate care and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Document medical necessity promptly in the electronic medical record.
• Contribute to the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Complete timely QA assessments and other duties as assigned.
