Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse License.
• 1-2 years of ER experience
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
• Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification
• Current American Heart Association PALS Certification
• Current NIHSS Certificate
• Successful completion of EKG Test
• Basic Computer Skills

Responsibilities

• The RN II provides comprehensive nursing care from assessment through evaluation in the ED.
• Oversees RN I, ED Techs, and CNAs; communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and physicians.
• Participates in departmental performance improvement activities as requested.
