Job summary

Mountains Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients in the Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Services, Perioperative Services and Skilled Nursing Facility.

The role requires on-call availability and a California RN license with current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS within 6 months of hire and basic arrhythmia certification within 6 months are also required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Critical Care required.
• AA or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients across Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Services, Perioperative Services and Skilled Nursing Facility.
• On-call requirement for RN across hospital settings.

SUMMARY

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients that are ill, injured convalescent or disabled per the State of California Nursing Practice Act in the following settings at Mountains Community Hospital: Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Services, Perioperative Services and Skilled Nursing Facility. On call required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school.

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Required two years experience in Critical Care

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Current State of California Nursing license.

Current BLS certificate.

Current ACLS certificate

PALS Within 6 mths of Hire

Basic arrhythmia certification required within 6 months of hire
