Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in Ohio with CPR current.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Current PALS, ACLS, Basic EKG, and TNCC required or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implements nursing process, carries out physician orders per Firelands standards of care.
• Performs assessments, monitors and documents care plans and communicates with physicians as needed.
• Instructs patients, families and staff on treatments and discharge plans to ensure safe transition.
• Responds to emergencies, maintains medications and supplies, ensures equipment cleanliness.
• Demonstrates service excellence and acts as a patient advocate for Firelands Health.
