Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital opportunities in Virginia. You will provide high-quality care in acute settings, select shifts that fit your availability, and join a locally owned staffing team.

Requirements include an active RN license, 2+ years ER experience, current BLS and ACLS, and the ability to complete facility credentialing.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting
• Triage and prioritize patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations
• Complete required assessments and documentation
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements
