First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital opportunities in Virginia. Choose shifts that fit your availability while enjoying competitive per diem pay, Daily Pay, and support from a local staffing team.

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS are required, along with 2+ years of ER experience and the ability to complete facility credentialing.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
