Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia seeks an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital shifts in Virginia. You will choose shifts that fit your availability while delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced ER environment.

Responsibilities include triage, medication administration, patient monitoring, and coordination with physicians. Must hold an active RN license with current BLS/ACLS and have at least two years of ER experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care ER setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
